poems by Donald James Dolby
The Wind Across The Sand
To see the sun rise over the mountains
That range from east to west
From your window in the morning
Still in your bed
A thumping head
Perhaps the sun is just a warning.

To feel the wind across the sand
That stretches to the border
All the way to Spain its winding
I'm laying there
Without a care
Perhaps the wind is just spellbinding.
